Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers inspired by Grand Theft Auto VI, set to launch alongside the game on November 19. These special editions are available for PlayStation 5 players in Southeast Asia and capture the distinct atmosphere of Vice City through their design.
The two designs—Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition and Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition—reflect the city’s contrasting moods, from bright daytime beaches to vibrant neon-lit nights. Both controllers feature a shimmering, colour-shifting finish that channels the hues of a Vice City sunset and neon glow.

Design details and availability in Southeast Asia
The white controller embodies the look of Vice City at daybreak, drawing inspiration from white sands and pastel skies. The black edition aims to represent the energy of the city’s nightlife. Both controllers include custom palm tree textures moulded into the grips, as well as official Grand Theft Auto VI branding to complement the aesthetic.
These limited editions will be available in Southeast Asia starting November 19 with a recommended retail price aligned to local currencies, including SGD 115 in Singapore and MYR 419 in Malaysia. Pre-orders for the controllers will open on September 10 at 10:00am local time through selected retailers, though exact availability may vary between countries in the region.
Enhanced gameplay experience with DualSense features
Grand Theft Auto VI utilises the PS5 DualSense controller‘s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to provide tactile responses that match in-game actions. According to Sony, this integration enhances immersion by dynamically adjusting resistance and vibrations to reflect scenarios faced by the characters, Jason and Lucia.
The announcement coincides with Sony’s wider promotion of Grand Theft Auto VI on PlayStation 5, reinforcing the synergy between hardware and software. Players can expect the game and these themed controllers to be available simultaneously on launch day.
More information about the gameplay experience and controller features was highlighted during Sony’s recent State of Play broadcast, where the limited editions were first revealed.
